SUMMARY:A Healing Mass for Those Impacted by Divorce & Separation
DESCRIPTION:In the Gospel of John Jesus encourages us\, “Let anyone who thirsts\, come to me.” Jesus\, the Living Water\, restores and heals our wounds when we bring them before Him in surrender. The Family Life team invites all impacted by divorce or separation to a healing mass on Tuesday\, April 30th at the Pastoral Center\, Braintree. \nMass will be celebrated by Father Jürgen Liias*\, OCP\, of the Lazarus Center for Healing Shrine. The evening includes Eucharistic Adoration and Confession\, music\, a witness talk by Mark Gioia\, a divorced Catholic; and healing prayers following the Mass (Mass expected to end by 8:15 PM). Information on resources and support will be provided. For more information\, please call Emily Elliott at (617) 746-5756. Registration is requested to anticipate sacramental needs. \n*Fr. Liias was an Ordained Episcopal Priest for 40 years serving various parishes in the Boston area. In 2013\, he was ordained a Catholic Priest by Cardinal O’Malley\, through a special provision of Pope Benedict for the ordination of married Episcopal/Anglican clergy. He serves as Senior Priest  at St. Patrick’s Church in Stoneham. He has been married to his wife Gloria for 53 years; they have two grown children and four grandchildren.

First thing Friday morning\, we will celebrate life with Cardinal Seán and other archdiocesan pilgrims at Life Fest sponsored by the Sisters for Life before heading to the March for Life. The 26-hour pilgrimage is $75 per person and includes bus transportation\, a ticket to Life Fest\, and a boxed lunch. DESCRIPTION:Most Reverend Bishop Mark O’Connell invites all couples celebrating their 10th\, 25th\, 50th or other milestone wedding anniversaries to attend the Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday\, October 29th at 3:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston. The couple will renew their marriage commitment and a blessing will be offered by the Bishop. There will be an opportunity for photos after the Mass. Please select one ticket per couple. \nAll family and friends are welcome to attend; guests do not need to register. Information on parking options will be mailed out to registered guests and included here this fall. DESCRIPTION:All are Called; All Belong is a workshop in ministry with persons with disabilities that will educate all participants on the realities of living with disabilities in both the Church and society.  Witness talks from inspiring presenters like author\, David Petrovic and Cassie Drahos\, mother to Sophia who has down syndrome. This day of faith-filled fellowship will reawaken our understanding of the inherent dignity and value of all children of God and the truth that all baptized in Christ are called and belong to His Body\, the Church. \nBrief presentations during the day from Julia Whitney\, Associate Director of Programs and Resource Development from the National Catholic Partnership on Disability (NCPD)\, and Kathryn Griffin\, Family Life Consultant from the RCAB Office for Lifelong Faith Formation and Parish Support will offer practical resources and adaptive materials for faith formation and ministry with persons with disabilities. \nThere is no cost to register!  Mass and lunch are included.  Please come and grow in awareness\, understanding\, and love for all of our brothers and sisters in Christ. \n

DESCRIPTION:Transformed in Love is the marriage preparation workshop of the Archdiocese of Boston for engaged couples and those seeking a convalidation after civil marriage. The Family Life team invites all those impacted by divorce or separation to attend “In the Arms of the Shepherd: A Morning of Reflection” at the Pastoral Center\, Braintree. If you have already registered for the original date\, but did not update your reply\, kindly email Emily_Elliott@rcab.org. You do not need to re-register! \nCome and refresh your spirit; discover the peace and healing that only Jesus provides. The half-day retreat features a presentation by Mother Olga\, founder of the Daughters of Mary of Nazareth\, a lay witness talk by Irina Robinson of the Fall River Diocese\, music\, Eucharistic Adoration\, the Sacrament of Reconciliation\, Holy Mass\, and small group sharing. Light refreshments will be provided in the morning. Check-in begins at 8:30am and the program concludes following the 11:40am Mass. The cost of the retreat is $10.00. SUMMARY:Play Like a Champion Today Training
DESCRIPTION:Play Like A Champion Today is an educational series from the University of Notre Dame that provides leadership in an effort to promote an inclusive and developmentally-oriented youth sports culture. It does this by educating ethically responsible youth sports leaders. This researched-based\, non-profit initiative is unique in its focus on fostering moral and spiritual development through sports. \nThis required training is for all area coordinators\, athletic directors\, and head and assistant coaches in both the Catholic school and parish leagues. It is our fervent hope to educate all leaders in the ministry of coaching to help teach our youth to be athletes for Christ. \nThis is three-hour training will be held virtually. There is a $35 registration fee. After registering\, training manuals will be mailed to your home and a Zoom link will be emailed. Upon completion of the training\, you will be sent your official PLAC badge and lanyard to wear when coaching. \nThank you for your service to our youth and the Church in the Archdiocese of Boston!  May God bless you all! \nNOTE:  The “pay by check” option is for schools or parishes who are paying for a group of coaches.
