DESCRIPTION:When a person shares that they identify as LGBT\, the parent(s) may feel overwhelmed with feelings\, questions\, and concerns for their child regardless of the child’s age. As they continue to love and walk alongside their children\, the parent(s) may question what love requires\, how to hold on to their faith without alienating their family\, or how God is working in their experience. On Tuesday\, March 18\, 2025\, parents of children who identify as LGBT are invited to join the Family Life team as we explore these feelings and questions in a guided and respectful conversation with Eve Tushnet\, co-founder of Building Catholic Futures. Eve will speak from her 20+ years of experience mentoring and accompanying people with same-sex attraction and their families. This gathering will run from 7:00-8:30 PM at the Sullivan Center at St. Camillus in Arlington and include prayer and small group discussion. RSVP is optional yet encouraged so we can plan accordingly.

Casey Beaumier\, SJ  is the director of the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in United States religious history from Boston College and focused his dissertation on the development of Jesuit education in the 20th century. At Boston College\, Fr. Beaumier teaches in the Capstone Program and lives in Fenwick Hall\, where he serves as mentor and spiritual director for students\, seminarians\, women religious\, and priests. In addition to directing the Institute\, Fr. Beaumier also serves as Vice President and University Secretary.

DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Jubilee Year 2025: Pilgrims of Hope\, the Archdiocese of Boston invites you to join us for a Mass honoring persons with disabilities and the Deaf community. The Mass will be now be celebrated by Bishop Cristiano Barbosa as Archbishop Henning travels to Rome for Pope Francis’ funeral. Bishop Cristiano will be available to take pictures with individuals and families prior to the Mass from 12:50-1:20 PM. \nThis Mass will be accessible for all and include a sensory-friendly space\, ASL interpreters\, Braille and large print worship aids. A designated drop off and pick up location is available at 74 Union Park St. by the wheelchair ramp/Our Lady’s Chapel.
