SUMMARY:Life Giving Wounds Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This one-day retreat is an opportunity for adult children (age 18+) with divorced or separated parents to deeply reflect on the wounds caused by their family’s divorce and find healing alongside others who know the pain. The talks/meditations\, prayer\, small group sharing\, Eucharistic Adoration\, and Mass offered invite guests to go deeper into the healing process\, finding solace and restoration that only Christ can provide. Fr. Nick Stano will be the Spiritual Director for this retreat\, celebrating Mass and available for spiritual guidance. Fr. Nick is featured on the Apple and Spotify podcast\, “Called by Name” where he shares his faith journey following his parents’ divorce.  Breakfast\, lunch and retreat materials are provided in the program fee. A husband\, wife\, and God are like a three-ply chord – “… not easily broken” (Eccl 4:12). \nIf you and your spouse desire holy matrimony in the Catholic Church\, you are invited to convalidate your marriage through your parish at a date of your choosing or join Bishop Cristiano Barbosa together with other couples at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross on Saturday\, February 14th as part of World Marriage Week.  \nBefore you register\, download this document for important information regarding the preparation for convalidation. DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Jubilee Year 2025: Pilgrims of Hope\, the Archdiocese of Boston invites you to join us for a Mass honoring persons with disabilities and the Deaf community. The Mass will be now be celebrated by Bishop Cristiano Barbosa as Archbishop Henning travels to Rome for Pope Francis’ funeral. Bishop Cristiano will be available to take pictures with individuals and families prior to the Mass from 12:50-1:20 PM. \nThis Mass will be accessible for all and include a sensory-friendly space\, ASL interpreters\, Braille and large print worship aids. A designated drop off and pick up location is available at 74 Union Park St. by the wheelchair ramp/Our Lady’s Chapel. The Family Life team invites all those impacted by divorce or separation to attend “In the Arms of the Shepherd: A Morning of Reflection” at the Pastoral Center\, Braintree. If you have already registered for the original date\, but did not update your reply\, kindly email Emily_Elliott@rcab.org. You do not need to re-register! \nCome and refresh your spirit; discover the peace and healing that only Jesus provides. The half-day retreat features a presentation by Mother Olga\, founder of the Daughters of Mary of Nazareth\, a lay witness talk by Irina Robinson of the Fall River Diocese\, music\, Eucharistic Adoration\, the Sacrament of Reconciliation\, Holy Mass\, and small group sharing. Light refreshments will be provided in the morning. Check-in begins at 8:30am and the program concludes following the 11:40am Mass. The cost of the retreat is $10.00.
