About Sent
Sent is a one- or two-day workshop for parish leaders and disciples to develop a foundation, common language, and skillset for evangelization.
Parishes and groups offering this workshop can help disciples:
- Learn how to share their witness.
- Create a firm understanding of evangelization and how to practice it.
- Discuss practical ways to evangelize in our daily lives and as a parish or community.

The Sent workshop is a comprehensive exploration of discipleship topics and tools:
- Understanding evangelization
- Your call to holiness
- The Journey of Discipleship
- Witness sharing
- Guidance in accompanying others on their journey
- Evangelizing in the parish or community through Gateway Moments
- Creating a community centered around evangelization
- Planning for evangelization
The workshop is for disciples, clergy, lay staff, pastoral teams, parish councils, school boards, finance councils, parishioners, and discipleship-oriented community members.
Attend a Workshop
Sent involves a small per person or parish/community fee to cover materials costs for those in the Archdiocese of Boston. We also ask the host community to provide food and beverage as appropriate for the workshop.
