Patrick has worked for the archdiocese since 2014.  He works in the areas of faith formation, ethnic communities, pastoral planning, evangelization, discipleship, and leadership.  Patrick has worked previously in parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston and elsewhere as a Director for Evangelization, Director of Religious Education, and Coordinator of Youth Ministry.  He and his wife have two sons.

Fr. J. Paul Wargovich II grew up in a Catholic family in Plymouth.  He attended Our Lady of Providence Seminary in Rhode Island and graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in philosophy. He then went to attend St. John’s Seminary for his four years of theology.

He served as a deacon at St. Joseph Parish in Needham and a a priest at St. Mary Star of the Sea, St. John the Evangelist, and St. Margaret in Beverly before beginning his service as Secretary to the Archbishop.

One of his favorite scripture passages is the end of Matthew’s gospel, when Jesus instructs the apostles to baptize people in all nations. Deacon

Richard J. Clark has served as Archdiocesan and Cathedral Director of Music & Organist since 2018. His choral, orchestral, organ, and vocal compositions have been performed worldwide. His liturgical compositions are published with G.I.A., Lorenz Sacred Press, CanticaNOVA, Corpus Christi Watershed, and other publications.

The Boston Globe calls the music of the Cathedral Choir “stirring” and “profound.” The Boston Music Intelligencer states: “Clark’s work embodies a level of artistic and liturgical integration we seldom encounter today—where the roles of composer, performer, and music director exist not separately, honoring a beautiful space, the great instrument within, and a pool of talented musicians giving soul to music.”

He has served as conductor and clinician, speaker, performer for several organizations including National Pastoral Musicians (NPM), Pueri Cantores Youth Choir Festival, The Colorado Sacred Music Conference, the Sacred Music Symposium in Los Angeles, and others. He has served on the Executive Board of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions. However, the highlight of Richard’s career is making music with his wife Kara and four children.

Diane Campbell joined the Archdiocese of Boston in 2017.  Prior to joining the Archdiocese she worked in the private sector as an executive assistant as well as serving in ministry for her parish and in the Cursillo community.

In March of 2020, when the pandemic hit, Diane helped initiate a Zoom daily morning rosary that is prayed 365 days a year.  It continues today with over the 75 people attending daily.

Diane grew up on the South Shore of Boston and continues to live there with her family.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends often traveling, skiing or spending time at beach on Cape Cod.
